The Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies is dependent on public subscription and grants and receives no financial support from the Government or University funds.

Your donation directly aids the OCHS in its quest to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, originality, and excellence.

By strengthning OCHS you will support gifted students and scholars; aid our ability to promote the results of their research through publishing and the Web; and promote understanding and dialogue among traditions.

Supporting the Oxford Centre

The Centre relies on donations from individuals, companies and foundations to enable it to provide for needs such as:

Developing a systematic and coordinated approach in Hindu scholarship
Making Hindu Studies relevant to economic and political communities globally
Facilitating young Hindu involvement in the scholarly study of their tradition
Analysing and interpreting the influences on Hindu identity today
Linking academic scholarship to the living tradition within the community
Promoting balanced programmes of education, research and publishing, filling a gap in current Hindu cultural and educational activities

By committing funds to cover these areas for a three to five-year period you can help the Centre focus on improving and developing its core programmes and add greatly to the facility we can offer scholars, students and the community.
