Students
OCHS students are its best ambassadors. Their excellence is shown by the number of scholarships, bursaries and awards they have achieved. OCHS students are moving into professional scholarly positions, publishing, going into business and finance, or working in the public sector. OCHS graduates pass on their learning through teaching, publishing and public service.
Scholars
OCHS gathers internationally renowned scholars into a dynamic community. OCHS Fellowships provide the chance for scholars abroad to spend a period at Oxford, benefiting the University’s resources and its ethos of dedicated discussion and research. These positive exchanges are contributing to new insights and interpretations of Hindu culture in the world today.
“The OCHS has developed a reputation for academic excellence, and without the Centre we wouldn’t have Hindu Studies at Oxford. Its students do us credit.”
Prof Richard Gombrich
